New Products

The recent issue of CTV Update listed a few exciting new products. Here is a little more information on two of those products.

The Table Version 3

The next version of The Table is now available. It has far too many features to list in this article, but here are a few of the new features: The Bible and Church Age Book in MP3 format that can be loaded on any MP3 player, 12 newly found sermons, 55 re-filtered sermons with newly-released audio, compatible with Windows 7, search the text of books such as Foxe’s Book of Martyrs, The Early Church Fathers, etc.

It also still has the same features of the original version released in 2002: Message and Bible search program, print your own Message books on your home computer, burn your own Message CDs using free software such as iTunes, all sermons are in high-quality MP3 format, Spanish and French Message search, and so much more.

eBooks

Many have predicted that books as we know them will one day be a thing of the past because of the new ebook format. An ebook is an electronic version of a printed book. Ebook readers, such as the Amazon Kindle, are simply digital devices that allow the reader to load a digital file of a book and read it like normal on a digital screen. To keep up with this technology, we will soon have the Message loaded into new ebooks that are compatible with Apple’s iPhone and iPad, as well as Google’s Android and Amazon’s Kindle. Each of these ebooks can be downloaded from the website of the eBook reader marketplace. For example, once the Kindle eBook reader is purchased (we do not sell them at VGR), the user will use the device to download Message books from the Amazon Kindle website. (Don't worry, we are not slowing down our presses because of eBook technology. This is just another way to get the Message out).

Many people use these ebook readers to follow along when listening to a tape. Since they hold all 1191 Message books in such a small package, as well as the Bible and other book(s) that you would want to load, they are a handy little piece of electronics.
