Before I retired, I had moved away from the shop to an office. Through a mutual friend, I heard that one of the people that worked in the shop was in the hospital.
I went to see him, and he told me the doctors told him that half of his heart was beating at a different rate than the other half. They had given him as much medicine as they could to slow his heart rate, but it didn't help. They couldn't give him any more because it could have killed him.
I went to see him at the hospital. I visited with him for a while and decided it was time to leave. As I stood up to leave, he asked so sincerely, "Would you pray for me?" I looked at him and said, "I certainly will." I walked over to the bed and took him by the hand. I bowed my head and began to pray.
After I prayed, I told him goodbye and started toward the door. He asked me to continue to pray for him when I prayed at home. I told him I would. As I got to the door, I turned around and told him, "It would be good for you to talk to Him as well." He said, "I will."
The next day, I went to see him again. I knocked on the door and he told me to come in. He was grinning from ear to ear. He said, "Something happened." I knew but I asked, "What?"
He said the nurse came in this morning and asked him how he felt. He said, "I feel really great." She said, "You should. Your heart started beating in perfect unison early this morning."
I asked him if the doctors could explain why it happened and he said they had no idea.
But, we know. We know that he is truly Hebrews 13:8. Praise His holy Name!!!
May God bless and keep you is my sincere prayer.
