Yesterday evening, a line of intense thunderstorms ripped through the midsection of the United States, from the Great Lakes all the way down to northeast Texas. Hardest hit was Joplin Missouri, where a catastrophic tornado destroyed upwards of 75% of that town. The death toll is over 100 now, and expected to rise.

We have been on the phone with local pastors and have not received any reports of injuries or severe damage to any believers’ homes or property.

Another line of storms is going through the area this evening. Even here in Jeffersonville, we have received high winds, severe thunderstorms, and a few downed trees.
