I trust this testimony blesses anyone who reads it. I just wanted to share about the power of prayer. This morning I woke up and was very in need of a touch from the Lord. I am a state government case manager for children with developmental disabilities (autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, mental deficiency), and I had a meeting today at a group home for a 14-year-old boy that was recently placed in the home due to his police involvement and attempts to break out of his home.
I was nervous about the meeting, as I knew that a lot needed to be discussed that was hard to talk about. I knew, without prayer, that the meeting would be full of arguments between his divorced parents, and stressful conversations.
The Lord helped me to really pray this morning while I was hearing a sermon of Brother Branham. I also read out of the Psalms before going to work. My wife was praying, and she called her family out of state and asked them to pray.
The meeting was one of the most peaceful meetings I have ever had in my nearly five years of being a case manager. The longer the meeting progressed, the more peaceful it became. What I feared (before I prayed) would be a stressful meeting was very smooth and peaceful, and everyone treated each other so nicely. I felt so good that I went home for lunch feeling like I was walking on air. Prayer has truly made the difference in so many of my home visits for my job over the years.
A brother in the Lord
