I find myself in a federal prison and in need of God. I then found out about you and how that you help prisoners.

I read a little pamphlet by William Branham, and it made me feel that there is still a chance for me. Please send me material. I need to feel that God does love me and that He forgives me. You don’t know how much your efforts mean to us. To know that someone cares for you, someone whom you will probab ly never know, it’s hard to understand. Please there has to be more than the way we live.

One of the inmates here just started crying in his cell. Happens a lot here, people get depressed and sad, they just cry. But this inmate was smiling and had tears in his eyes; I asked him what’s up. He just said, “I’m clean; I’m washed in the Blood.” I asked what do you mean. Well, he could not talk. He handed me a little book, Revelation of Jesus Christ. I read it. I see now what he meant, but I guess I’m not where he is, yet. Please can you send me more books?

When one lands in prison, such as I, one needs something to free one’s spiritual self so as to not feel as a two-fold prisoner, but thanks to God, I came to His feet in March of 2001 and have had much hunger for these teachings. In this place there is a group of women that are looking for spiritual substance, as there is not even a chapel or even services here as is common in other prisons. We would like to receive some books of teachings from you to help us. I am concerned that many here are hungry for God and are going to bed hungry as there is no spiritual food here.

I am an inmate that has just come to the knowledge of Brother Branham. I heard his name mentioned a few times and finally asked who he is. Well they just kind of grinned at me and told me, “You don’t want to know, he is just a preacher.” Well I pushed and I guess that is what they wanted, and they started telling me some strange stories. I wanted to read some of his books and they said, “You better think about it first, as you will never be the same.” Now I laughed and said, “Right, like I’m doing such a good job in my life.” Well, they would not give me a book. They said it is too much responsibility, but they gave me this address and told me to wait and see what happens.

There is a line about, do you want the truth. A brother looked in my room and saw all the religious books I had. I mean I have read them all, from all everyone. He gave me a book by Rev. Branham, never heard of that one. Well I’m no bump on the log. I know my Bible and I know religion. I thought I knew the truth also. The book was Hebrews and I am told that this is Brother Branham’s address. I pray to my Lord Jesus Christ with a heart that is full of gratitude for these Messages brought by God’s Servant. What truth’s they contain. I have read the best books by the best authors, but one page of Brother Branham contains more nuggets than all other books together. I am amazed how God used such an awesome man to reveal such deep treasures of the Bible. I have rededicated my life to the study of His Word and I am your dedicated reader.
