Inconveniences

It’s one of the worst feelings in the world: losing your wallet. It may not sound like a big deal until you are the one who is frantically searching everywhere to find your driver license, credit cards, insurance, and money that is always in that precious little wallet. In the end, it’s usually just an inconvenience, but if you trust Him the Lord Jesus can take care of inconveniences too.

I so enjoy reading the testimonies you post on this website. I would like to share one that happened to me a few months ago. My husband and I had our 25th wedding anniversary and decided instead of going off alone; we'd like to take our children somewhere. Well I asked my parents to borrow their car because it was cheaper on gas and larger than our own.

On the night we were to pick it up, my parents were returning from out of town themselves. They stopped at a gas station a couple of hours from home to fill up on gas. My dad got out and pumped the gas. When they got back into town, he was going to stop and do some business at his shop.

My mom asked if he had his wallet. He replied yes, but when he reached for it, it wasn't there. They searched the car and it wasn't in it. I came up at this time and I helped search it. The last place Dad could remember having it was when he went in to pay for his gas. He said he'd laid it on the counter and that was the last place he remembered it.

Well, we did a search and found the station and the number. He called and they said it wasn't there. He had a good bit of cash and a credit card in it along with his license. I took the car to the car wash and vacuumed out from under all the seats and searched it again, praying the whole time.

Well, my husband and I stopped at their home to unload some things for them. They were upset over the loss of the wallet and very down. So when my dad went inside, my husband got my hand and said let's pray that he finds his wallet. He said I hate to leave and go off when this has happened. Remembering what Brother Branham said that if he left his pocketknife at home and he had the faith it would be in his pocket, we held hands and prayed a simple prayer just asking that the wallet would be found.

I went inside and my Dad came back out to help unload. As he started back in he decided to check just one more time under the seats to make sure it wasn't there. Well...it was there! Right near the front of the passenger seat where I had looked and vacuumed and they had all searched. I know without a doubt that God placed it there!

I am so thankful for His wonderful grace and love to us in these matters.
