Ashamed?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Romans 1:16

How many of us would be ashamed to lay our hands upon a stranger in a public place, and proclaim that Jesus Christ still heals the sick? This brother wasn’t ashamed, and neither was the man he prayed for.

We received this testimony as feedback from the article posted on April 10, 2012, titled Take God At His Word.

Yes sir! That is what I’m talking about! The same Yesterday, Today and Forever. It reminds me of a time I met a man, a “greeter” at Walmart (an elderly person that greets you at the door). We would talk often when I would go to the store. He was a Christian man.

One day upon exiting the store, I saw him from a distance. Something spoke to my heart “He needs Prayer.” As we engaged to talk, he asked me to keep him in prayer, that the doctors found cancer in his prostate. It was small, but he seemed worried.

I told him what spoke to my heart as I saw him, and that I believe it was the Lord. Feeling His presence so strong, I asked him if he would like to pray right now? He said yes. Right there in the door of Walmart, we cried out to the Lord Jesus Christ. With an “Amen,” we both agreed everything would be alright.

The next time I saw him, he said he was cancer free and gave all the glory to the Lord. That was two years ago; he is still a “greeter” today.

I believe we could have a “Testimony On The Sea” service about now! Could you see a few thousand believers sitting around taking turns? He's so real. Thank you Holy Ghost for bringing to our remembrance what You have done for us.

Have a blessed day and keep putting out the testimonies. Oh! Blood of the Lamb, we have overcame today. Rev. 12:11
