With his own eyes, he saw thousands of miracles. The blind received their sight. The lame walked. He saw demons run like scared rabbits. Like Peter, James, and John, he stood on top of the mountain to witness the glory of the Lord. He heard the thunder of the Seven Seals shake the country. He saw the Supernatural Cloud in the Arizona sky. He was there when squirrels were created. He was told of the silvertip grizzly bear and 42” caribou before the prophecy was fulfilled. In the wilderness of Colorado, he saw the storm flee at the words of the prophet. For years, he served as Brother Branham’s trustee in his church, laying the foundation for this modern work as one of the original “Tapeboys.” He continued on, becoming one of the first employees at Voice Of God Recordings, and again saw prophecy fulfilled as Brother Branham’s tapes circled the globe. With all that his eyes saw and all that was accomplished through his hands, what would Brother Fred Sothmann consider his greatest achievement in life? He was the prophets’ friend.

Early this morning at 2:15, our old friend went to be with the Lord. He was 98 years old. Brother Fred’s familiar “Amen” that Brother Branham liked so much is now being heard beyond the curtain of time. He’s reunited with his friends, his wife – Martha, and his beloved prophet in the loving care of the Lord Jesus.

And I heard Fred Sothmann say, "Amen." There is nobody says it like him. He is in here somewhere. I don't know where he's at. He's back in the back, somewhere. Where you at, Fred, where, where? Oh, yes, back there.
