Around 35 years ago, I had gotten ahold of two tapes. Not knowing that there were any others or that there was any followers/believers anywhere, I listened to those two tapes over and over for weeks, and it made my heart burn for more of God. Then I heard that there was a man in Jeffersonville that had some other tapes.
Not knowing the correct spelling nor even a first name, only a rough pronunciation of something that sound like “Sopman,” I started calling every number that directory assistance gave me that sounded close. I would say, “I am looking for a man that was associated with William Branham.” After several calls getting people that didn't have a clue what I was talking about, finally I said that I was looking for a man who knew a William Branham, and a man replied, “You mean BROTHER William Branham.”
Well the love and respect shown right there let me know that in this Message, I had found something that truly must be of God. He was a great blessing to me from the start, allowing me to come to his home.
I looked at all those tapes in awe. I said, “Sir there are so many, I don't know how I will ever be able to listen to all these. Is there one that will explain everything to me?” I truly believe that it was Divine Guidance, and he said well, the Seven Church Ages and the Seven Seals pretty much explains most of it!
I left with Revelations Chapter 1 through Questions and Answers on the Seals. God revealed Himself to me in those, and Brother Sothmann has been a very special man in my heart throughout these years. What joy he must have today! May God bless his family and the many loved ones that will miss him dearly.
