The Good Samaritan

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Luke 10:33-35

Yes, we live in a cruel and unforgiving world, but every once in a while, we see a glimmer of hope. This sister in Trinidad was blessed when she came in contact with a modern-day Good Samaritan. Not only did the Lord provide her provisions, but He also showed us that there is still some good out there.

I am a believer of Malachi four. One day I went to the grocery to purchase some things that I need.

Having done that, I went to the cashier to pay for the goods. However when the cashier cashed the items, it came up to more than I anticipated. The cashier told me I’ll have to take out a few items, and enquired which ones I would like to take out? I said to her that I needed all of the items, therefore I did not know which ones to take out. While discussing the situation, a gentleman (who I did not know) was standing at the other end of the line, heard our discussion. He called out to the cashier and said, “Give her what she wants. I will pay the difference, no matter what it cost.” I thanked the gentleman, then I praised God for He is the supplier of our every need.

Your sister in Christ,

Then your faith looks up to God and accepts Divine healing, or salvation, or whatever you have need of from God. It isn't only do one thing or another. Anything that you have need of in this earth's journey, God will supply it if you have need of it. He promises to supply your needs, not your wants, your needs. And He's God. And He can only get it to you as you believe Him.
