When I read this testimony it reminded me of a time when I was standing in line to pay for some nuts. I was making something that called for them at home and behind me in line was a young man with a skateboard under his arm. He looked a little rough, maybe someone you might feel a little nervous of. When I went to get my wallet out of my purse, I was embarrassed to tell the girl that I had left my wallet at home.
I said I was sorry and told her I`d be back. I walked quickly out of the store towards my van when I heard a voice calling, “Excuse me.” I turned to see the clerk holding the bag of nuts, and she told me the young man behind me paid for them.
I was so blessed, I walked back in to thank him and I truly believe the Lord will bless him for his kindness. I’m ashamed to say that by his appearance I would not have thought he would have done something like this. It taught me something valuable. God help me never to judge someone by their appearance.
