Prayer Request Update

We posted the prayer request last night to remember Brother Youcef Nadarkhani as he stands before another Iranian court in an unexpected trial. At 11:30 this morning (Iranian time), Brother Youcef was acquitted of apostasy and found guilty of evangelizing to Muslims. His sentence for the evangelism charge was three years, which he has already served. He is now free and in the loving arms of his family.

We ask that you continue to keep him in prayer. Although his prison was once a place of suffering and sorrow, it also gave him a certain amount of protection. Yes he is free from bondage, but his life could still be in danger.

Wherever our dear brother is, prison or free, he is under the protective hand of our Lord Jesus. He is happy to be home and looking forward to some much-needed rest and catching up on three years of missed time with his family.

We are rejoicing at this wonderful news, but this is not the end of the story of our Iranian friends. There are still believers who are imprisoned and in danger as they try to worship the Lord as He has placed on their hearts. Please continue to remember them in your prayers, and we will continue to keep you informed of their situations.

Please join us today in thanking our Lord Jesus for His mercy on Brother Youcef. Truly, it was His mighty hand that did this.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
