God Is Great!

Sometimes, after months or years of praying, everything seems to come together at once. We received this testimony from a young man originally from Cameroon, who is going to school in Florida. He had been praying that the Lord would make a way for him to continue his studies, but he received far more than he ever imagined.

The book of Psalms 150 from verse one to six talks about praising God in all forms in accordance to His excellent greatness, because He deserves it. I Praise Him everyday, but been doing that more these past days due to another miracle He just showed me. Reason why I'm here, is to testify of His greatness. For the Word says, (1 Chronicles 16:8) “Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.”

I came in this country (USA) in 2009 as an international student (from Cameroon). While here I had very limit opportunities due to my student status. I had to pay out-of-state tuition no matter how long I spent here, no legal right to work unless you are qualified, just to name a few.

As a child of God, I never stopped praying, asking God to make a way for me. Two years later, I was selected to apply for a permanent residency status. It took about a year to reach my case number so I could send in my application; this was in the month of June 2012.

A few weeks later I was called in for fingerprint and photos. For the mean time, I kept praying and hoping for my status to change before school starts so I would not have to pay all that money again.

There is this church I go to (The Word of God Tabernacle) with the sister of a very good friend. This is usually when I don't go to my own church (Presbyterian). The preaching there is great, and numerous times I hear the pastor referring to “Brother Branham.” So one day I decided to ask my friend, “Who is this brother the pastor calls every time?” She turned and said, “He was a man sent from God, a prophet.” I was silent for few seconds, then replied, “I have never heard of him.”

She was surprised and told me, “It’s OK, they don't talk about him that much again in this place (USA) because of the truth he said to them every time as a man sent from God.” So I took the website and started exploring it and listened to the tapes, which were very interesting.

During this time, I was still waiting to hear from my application, and school time was coming closer. I was so worried. But then one afternoon, around early August, I thought of putting a prayer request on here (branham.org) about my case, requesting for prayers so I could get my status changed before school resumes on August 20, 2012.

Two weeks later I got an appointment notice from the immigration for an interview for my case. It was set on the same date as school starts, Aug 20. I put in my prayer request. GOD IS GREAT! My interview went well that morning and my permanent resident status was granted. PRAISE THE LORD! I went to school that same day and changed my status, my tuition was dropped, and I started school the following day.

I'm so grateful to the LORD this day and will continue to praise Him. My brothers and sisters, let’s continue to walk by faith and not by sight. Amen
