Today I had the privilege of speaking with some of the Puerto Rican people in the prison. I want to say this; that the fine spirit that I found among you people, the prison does not shut it out. They are still the same people in prison, loving, kind. And when the Spirit of God came in, they had just as much joy as we have out here on the field. You can never put a saint anywhere but what God will come, be with him. One went into the belly of a whale; God came and was with him. Three went in a fiery furnace, God went and…?… them. One went into a lions’ den, God went with him. You can't hide a saint from his God.
I wish to thank you for all the wonderful and Spirit-filled material you send me. I pray that I’ll be just as excited about the Lord the rest of my life as I am right now. I ask that you remember me in prayer that I might have the burden for people. I know the Angel will only mark the ones that cry for the sins in the city, and I am not quite at that spot in my walk. So please remember me in your prayers, I want to be right!

I don’t know what to say or how to say it. I have just finished “Man Sent from God.” It took me three weeks to finish the book, and nobody ever talked to me like this book did. I want to go to heaven. I’m 52 and I don’t know when I was not an alcoholic in my life. I’m getting help, but I know without the God of Reverend Branham in my life, nothing will help. Please, if there is more from Reverend Branham, send them to me. I really believe that he can help me come close to God.

Brother, I have a degree in theology and have studied many years. I looked back over my life, and I can hear the Apostle Paul say that when I was a child, I spoke as a child. I always thought that statement was about how we speak and the words we used; I have learned a lot of words. Three weeks ago someone was leaving and left me with some of your books. I tell you, it broke me down. Oh I knew the Word, but here is a man that knows the power of the Word. I cannot speak like Reverend Branham, nor can I use the words he does for I have been reduced to a humble baby, not even a child. “I take every spirit in this building,” Brother I jumped out of my skin. His words scared me and to think I believed I was a man. I might know the book, and I might know the words, but here is a man that personally knows God. I’m just going to crawl back into the crib and wait for more of this Living Waters from you.

Another inmate asked why I get so excited over receiving these books. I told him I love to read my Bible. Well, he said he did also. I told him that I never understood the Bible; it was just so many words put together. He said, I agree with that, but why these booklets? I told him the Bible is now a different book to me, and that it’s no longer a book, because these booklets by God’s prophet make my Bible live, each chapter, each paragraph, each word becomes a living breathing part of Jesus Christ. He looked at me, and said, “I can see that, how can I receive these?”

Someone left me a book called, “Church Age.” I just could not put it down. If anyone has any questions regarding The Holy Bible, this one book answers all of them. At least it did for me!

I was told about the prophet in South Africa, and I was feeling bad because in my heart I wanted to be there and witness God’s prophet. Then I received the book and started reading. The book is so wonderful and captivating that I felt that I was right there. I had my hands up and the tears were coming down. How powerful God’s prophet is! Thank you!

What is wrong with the people in the USA? Brothers and Sisters from around the world are waking up to the true Word of God and testifying of their belief in this Message! We in prison are seeing the same thing! While here in the USA people are wasting their time trying to discredit God’s Truth and His messenger. Such a shame that a country founded on Christian belief has got to a point where they can’t see that William Branham was the prophet of the Lord! How wrong and sad. What happen to Christian Love?

For years I found peace just reading and studying my Bible, then I found some books of Brother Branham. I’m sure that you had the same feelings I do. What a deep understanding, what perfection, the Scriptures come alive. Would you please send me the book of Hebrews and on the Seven Seals? Others here would also appreciate books in Spanish. It seems they understood enough English to start hunger pains.

I came from really backcountry in the South here, and Reverend Branham’s life story just made me cry remembering my childhood. But while his window had a curtain, ours didn’t. I’ve been here many years and will never leave. For years it was just the good book and God, and that’s all I needed; I was satisfied. Then a guard dropped off the “Life Story” book. Like I said, I identified with Reverend Branham, and got a powerful thirst. If there is more about this man of God, I would surely like to know it.

I write this with hope, faith, and prayer. I came across a tract that said, “But where is Elijah?” First, it is an unusual question, plus who would say such a thing unless they had an answer. I swallowed the hook, now show me what you really offer.

The feedback I received from the state prison chaplains over the phone today was overwhelming! Requests for prayer, desperation for more material, and relaying how hungry many of their prisoners are for these books; it was all rather shocking. It almost seemed as though the chaplains themselves were crying out in a famine. Thank you for all of your time and effort for the prisoners.
