I have had back problems since I was 14 years old. Over the past 50 years my back has gradually worsened.
Two weeks ago, I had such severe back pain that I couldn’t walk, sit, or stand. I had to travel to the ER in an ambulance. About two weeks after that, my left shoulder and neck started hurting. On Sunday, February 3rd, the pain in my shoulder and neck was getting worse. I just felt bad all over my body. The devil was trying to convince me to stay home instead of going to church, but I was determined to go anyway.
During the morning song service, before listening to “The Pergamean Church Age,” we were singing the song “What a Beautiful Name.” We replaced the word “beautiful” with “healing.” As we were singing, I was standing up with my eyes closed and holding my right hand up in the air. I couldn’t hold my left hand up because my shoulder hurt too much.
Suddenly, I felt a circle of a tingling feeling (like electricity) going down each of my legs simultaneously, from my mid-calf down to my ankles. I still had my eyes closed and thought, “I never felt anything like that before!”
So, I moved my left shoulder around, and I wasn’t feeling any more pain. I also wasn’t feeling any more pain in my neck. I know in my heart that the tingling feeling was from the Holy Spirit healing my body. In fact, my whole body felt revitalized!
After the song ended, I wanted to give God the glory for healing me, so I raised my hand to tell my fellow believers what I had just experienced.
In all the 23 years of believing this Message, I have never experienced anything like that before. It raised my faith to a different level. It has totally changed my spiritual life. I've always believed that God's healing power is real, but that morning it became "real" to me.
God is truly the Almighty Healer. Each of us must have enough faith to believe.
