Acts 19

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Acts 19:11-12

Yes, the Word of God is alive and well in His people. We received this email from a sister in Brazil who is thankful that God still honors His Word.

My 10-year-old son Daniel had asthmatic bronchitis since 5 months of age. He stayed in the ICU for a few days when he was five years old. I was always asking God in my prayers for his healing, because he always had to use an inhaler to soothe his lungs in order to breathe. Regularly, he would have to take antibiotics for sinusitis that always reoccurred.

This past winter he had just finished taking antibiotics, and after a week was already all congested again. He woke up at dawn, asking me for medicine because it was very bad with a lot of nasal secretion. He would also cough a lot because of the drainage in his nasal passages.

I prayed to the Lord and asked for direction. I heard very clearly in my heart to use the prayer cloth that a sister had given me. I took the prayer cloth and could not fix it to his clothes. I felt something again telling me that in my sewing bag I had a pin.

When I opened the sewing bag, there was the pin right on top of all the sewing needles. That fed my faith. I went to my son and woke him up, saying that the Lord Jesus had told me to use the prayer cloth and that he would be healed. He told me, "I believe, mother." At that point we went to sleep for the rest of night. I felt great peace and could rest.

The next day I got up, and my son was already in the room. He told me he was well and did not feel anything else. He used the prayer cloth for about a month. Since then he has not taken any more medicines.

Glory to God because He is the Great Healer.
