Notice, the Jews are in their homeland, and been going back. If you get the Decline Of the World’s War, volume two, when General Allenby, after the First World War, flew over Jerusalem and captured it, and took Jerusalem. And those Christian men marched in Jerusalem with their hats off. And Allenby surrendered without even firing a gun…or they surrendered to Allenby, the Turks

This past winter marked the 100-year anniversary of an event that shaped the modern world. The siege and fall of Jerusalem took place in the winter of 1917, during the first World War.
At the start of the “war to end all wars,” Ottoman Turks had sided with the Central Powers (Germany and Austria) against the Allied Countries (Britain, France, Russia, and eventually the USA). For the past 400 years, Jerusalem had been in control of the Turks, and though there was a continual Christian presence, the Ottoman-Turks maintained the rule over the city since 1517.
The liberation of Jerusalem began in 1916, when British Prime Minister, David Lloyd George, ordered the invasion of southern Palestine. In a crucial victory, the British surprised the Turks by attacking 60 miles south of Jerusalem, at a town named Beersheba. During the battle, British armies moved quickly against the retreating Ottoman military, who while retreating tried to establish numerous new lines of defense to stop their withdrawal. It was during this time the British took advantage of a key element they desperately needed to prevail on the southern front and ultimately win their main objective, Jerusalem.
A Jewish chemist by the name of Dr. Chaim Weizmann had successfully figured out the development of Acetone (key ingredient used to fire artillery shells) in mass quantities, and the British desired hundreds of tons of it. In 1915, the year before the clash for Palestine, Weizmann was approached by a Mr. Winston Churchill, who at the time was head of the Royal Navy, and who eventually became the Prime Minister of England (1940-1945, 1951-1955). The use of this chemical in explosive devices would allow the advance of the Brits all the way to Jerusalem. In return Dr. Weizmann later negotiated with the UK to promise to help provide "a national home for my people." A realization that would take place three decades later.
By early December, 1917, southern Israel had been conquered and the British had reached the gates of Jerusalem. The final push to overthrow the Turks and liberate Jerusalem was tasked to a lead officer of the British military by the name of Edmund Allenby. Known as the “Bull,” Allenby was instructed by London to take Jerusalem by Christmas.
After England had went in there, during the time of General Allenby, in The Decline Of The World’s War, in second volume, I think it is, and they surrendered, the Turks surrendered, then he give it back to Israel.
General Allenby was a revered, God-fearing Christian leader. Taking of the city was something Allenby agonized about leading up to the siege. Deeply aware of the need to avoid bringing Jerusalem under fire, Allenby planned to encircle the city and cut off the Turkish garrison. Just hours before the siege was to commence, General Allenby received the assurance he needed.

In 1917, the British general, Edmund Allenby, led his troops to surround the city of Jerusalem. It is reported that the night before his impending invasion, Allenby prayed that he might take the city without destroying the holy places. He had wired London for instructions and had received a simple reply---a scripture verse!
'As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it' (Isaiah 31:5).
The exciting prospects of such a thing led him to have the verse read aloud before all his troops positioned in the foothills of Jerusalem. Allenby commandeered every available aircraft for a fly-over. On the morning of December 9th, what seemed like hundreds of planes skirted low from just over the 'Hill of Evil Council,' which lies to the south of the Temple site. The sky was covered from wing tip to wing tip and from nose to tail with airplanes---British biplanes---captured German aircraft---everything that would fly!
As they flew low over Jerusalem and the Eastern Gate, one of the pilots dropped a note demanding surrender---signed by General Allenby. The Turks were frightened by the multitude of planes. According to reports, the name of Allenby further frightened them, for the word 'Allah' in Arabic means 'God' and 'beh' is Arabic for 'son'. The Turks were looking at a demand for surrender signed by Allah-beh, the son of God!

In response, they hoisted a white flag and surrendered the city without firing a single shot.
Now, if we could take that back yonder and run back there, how that—that even on The Decline of the World’s War, in the second volume, when General Allenby had fought in till he hit the lines of Jerusalem, and he just wired back to the King of England, and said, “I don’t want to fire on the city, on the account of the sacredness of it.” He said, “What shall I do?”
He said, “Pray.”
And he flew over it again, and when they did, they said, “Allenby’s coming.” And there were Mohammedans in there, thought he said, “Allah’s coming.” And they hoisted the white flag and surrendered and Allenby marched into Jerusalem and took it without firing a shot, according to the prophecies, that’s right, and turned it back over to the Jews.

The Turks surrendered to Allenby on December 9th, and he entered into the city triumphant on December 11th. Before entering Jerusalem, out of respect, Allenby dismounted from his horse and entered the city through the Jaffe Gate, because he said that only one Person should ride in triumphant in the final liberation and redemption of Jerusalem.

As a Christian boy in the UK, it’s said that Allenby’s mother taught her son to end his bedtime prayers with these words, “And, O Lord, we would not forget your ancient people, Israel. Hasten the day when Israel shall again be your people and shall be restored to your favor and to their land.”
Later, Allenby said, “I never knew God would give me the privilege of answering my own childhood prayer.”
An answered prayer that would change the course of history forever.
