We all know this Scripture, but we should never take it for granted:
4 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
5 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
It’s something that we probably don’t consider, but imagine the responsibility that Brother Branham carried on his shoulders. God placed His trust into this man to do exactly as He commanded for this all-important job. How did this modern-day Elijah do his job? He did it exactly as the Elijah before him (John the Baptist) did it, he lifted up Jesus Christ before the people.
Speaking of the gift God gave him, Brother Branham said,
It’s a gift of knowing how to get William Branham out of the way, so Jesus Christ can live through a vessel. Just getting yourself out of the way!
It’s a special blessing because this year, his birthday falls during what we call “Holy Week.” This is the day after our Lord Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, while believers threw down palm leaves and their own garments in front of Him. Today, the day after Palm Sunday, He came into the Temple and turned over the money-changers’ tables.
We will be posting our Easter schedule later this week. As you probably know, the VGR employees are working from home because of the coronavirus, and the office is closed until the “stay at home” order is lifted. The Branham Tabernacle is also not having gatherings, but Brother Joseph is setting prayer schedules and sermons for all who would like to join us in worship.
Brother Branham loved the people. He was honored that so many wanted to hear his Message of a living Jesus Christ, and he stayed perfectly with God’s Word. We, his converts, are resting on that.
As long as the Word has said it would be here, would operate this certain way, stay right with it. Don’t never get off, no matter what anybody does, how real it seems to be. If it doesn’t reflect in the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation, leave it alone. Don’t take no chances, we’re in the last days when Satan is just deceiving as he can be.
Forgive me if I try to take the place of a boss; I’m no boss. But I feel to you like Paul said back there about his congregation once, “You’re the stars in my crown.” When I cross over the land over on the other side yonder, and meet you in that glorified condition, I want you to stand there to shine like the stars in my crown. See? And I—I want you to be there, I want to be there.
And I remember in my vision when I seen the Presence of the Lord, or His people in that glorious Land yonder, I looked around, I told them…And they told me He would judge me first by the Gospel that I preach. I said, “Just exactly the way Paul preached It!”
And them millions of people screamed out, “We’re resting on that!” See? See. Now, I want it to be so. And we are going to meet there someday.

Thank God for Brother Branham. Thank God for his Message. And, most of all, thank God for the Christ that he taught!
