A Faithful Steward

You say, “Well, Brother Branham, I—I’m a little timid, how…” That don’t make any difference what you are. It’s what God can do with you. You just give what you got to Him now. And at least you’ve got a hand you can raise up and say, “Lord, here it is. It’s all I got. I give You my hand with a true heart behind it.

55-1120 What Is That In Your Hand?

Sister Abigail, way up in Alaska, is finding her joy in serving the Bride of Christ. She is using her musical talents to honor Him and to be a blessing to others.

Ever since I was a little girl I have had the desire to play an instrument, more specifically the violin. I would listen to tapes and hear Brother Branham described Glory Avenue where all the angelic choir and musicians will be over on the hill singing and playing, and how musicians would march before the soldiers into battle.

Something in my heart would yearn to play. Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to receive lessons. By the time I was 12 years of age, my family and I ended up moving to a different state where a church was just starting up.

I remember wanting so desperately to play in the band, but having no lessons myself, I had no confidence to even pick up a violin.

To my surprise they asked if any of the youth wanted to practice to join the band. I was more than ecstatic. I thought to myself, "Now is my chance to serve the Bride of Christ!"

The first time I picked up my violin, I remember praying to the Lord so that He would guide my hands as I played for Him. I grabbed my prayer cloth and placed it underneath my shoulder, and just had faith God was going to help me through. At first, I had no idea how to even hold the bow, but I had faith as the prayer cloth sat on my shoulder.

I started playing more and more and practicing at home, every time placing it before the Lord in prayer.

Nine years later I am humbled to say God has brought me a long way from where I began. I play in my church band every Wednesday and Sundays with so much joy, knowing I get to serve His most wonderful Bride. Without God I wouldn't have been able to be the musicians I am today and I am so grateful for his love and grace.

May God richly bless you all. "If we never meet again this side of heaven then I'll meet you on that beautiful shore."

God Bless, from your sister in Christ in North Pole, Alaska.

Sister Abigail

This song has helped me through so much, and I hope it will be a blessing.

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
