The Little Things

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Psalm 139:17-18

Father is interested in more than just the highlights in our lives. Paul tells the Philippians to let EVERYTHING be made known to God by prayer (Phil. 4:6), and that includes the little things!

Sister Mildreth took a “Nugget” from the Message and applied to her own need, making even the little things known to God. Here is her testimony.

I want to share a little testimony for the glory of the Lord. It’s simple but it’s wonderful for me to see how the Lord answers our little prayers, if we have faith.

The washing machine broke down, and it is a need in every house. Something was not working, and I couldn’t fix it.

One day I needed to wash my clothes and I was thinking that God can do anything we need, and that Brother Branham says, “And don’t never be afraid to ask big things. God wants you to ask big things. He don’t want you to be little petty and juvenile. He wants you to ask big things that your joys may be full.” I began to pray, saying, "Lord, You know how necessary this is for my house and that I don’t have money to buy a new one, but I believe You are the Great Mechanic and You can repair it, thank you for that."

The washing machine didn’t work that day, but I believed He was the Almighty and that He could repair it. Today it worked! I just turned it on, and it worked. I just could thank the Lord because I know He did it. This is a little testimony, but I know that if I trust that He can answer a little petition like this and if I have faith, I won’t doubt in asking greater things. Shalom.

Your sister,

Mildreth Ramirez
