If you notice, wherever you see man begin to multiply, people begin to get together, great gatherings of people, and remain, that city is becoming populated, more population. The first thing you know, it begins to bring in device-ity for recreation; from that, it goes into gambling; from gambling, into drinking; from drink—drinking, into prostitution; breaking up of homes, marriage; divorce, then murder.

But God does not give us merits on good intentions. There is only one way to serve God, that’s by doing His will at His command.

What is it? The quickening power coming to the Church, making Her ready, this hour that we're approaching. Quickening power! O God, help us to receive It. Help us to believe It. See, just depends on what attitude you take to It, whether It's going to do you any good, or not, though. See? You have to believe That. You don't believe It, It won't do you one bit of good.

Hallelujah. There are some who have the Spirit of God, that stands for the Word incarnate. God, increase our ranks. The Word, nothing but the Word, take that Word where Jesus said in there, "All heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word shall not."

When you get to a spot, you're so smart that you know everything, then God can't do nothing with you. But if you get to a place that you're willing to listen and learn, then—then it's God's time, can move in and talk to you.

And every trial is put upon you, to prove you. And the Bible said, “They're more precious to you than gold.” So if God let a few light afflictions happen to you, remember, it's for the correction of you. “Every son that cometh to God must first be chastened of God, and tried, child-trained.” There's no exceptions. “Every son that cometh.” And these afflictions are done, they're brought about, to see what attitude you'll take. See? It's God, on this proving-ground. That's all earth is, is the proving-grounds, and where He is trying to prove you.

A prophet is a reflector of God. He is made so that he cannot speak his own words. It has to be God's Words that he speaks. He's just like a reflector, and he is God's mouthpiece.

When, the Gospel of Jesus Christ can be preached and proved, and the God of Heaven in the form of His Pillar of Fire wave over the people and show that Jesus Christ is in the last session of His Coming, giving them the last sign. And laugh at It and make fun of It, and call themselves church members; and then say they’re not neurotics? Explain that.

Don't be scared to ask. Ask abundantly. "You have not, because you ask not. You ask not, because you believe not." That's right. Ask, ask a whole lot. God will give you a whole lot. Have a lot of faith.

Your birth here was preplanned. I guess you believe that. Every one of you knows that our birth was preplanned. Did you know that your being here never originated just at a myth or a thought? Everything was all preplanned by God, before the foundation of the world, that you would be here.

Now, “Those who He has called, He has justified.” He called them before the foundation of the world. “Those who He called, He has justified. And those who He has justified, He hath already glorified.” The same God, that before the foundation of the world, called your name and wrote it on the Lamb's Book of Life; in the Book, from the foundation of the world, has already made a place in Glory for you. “And when this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting for us there in Glory…?…” There you are. That's the Gospel.

It's on my heart! I love you! Don't perish with the world! If you're of the world, you'll perish with the world. If you're of God, you'll go with Him in the resurrection. So change your nature tonight from the love of the world and the things of the world, and all these creeds and things, and look straight to Calvary to your Sacrifice; meet Him there on them grounds, ’cause that's the only place He'll ever meet you.
