A Knock At The Door - Conclusion

12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

Luke 17:12-16

Brother Keith Hern, VGR office manager in Cape Town, gave the testimony about a Muslim named Imraan who he witnessed to in 2015. Once converted to Christianity, the man was disowned by his family and severely beaten for his decision.

Imraan, knowing he was in danger of death for his conversion, asked, “Why can’t I just die now, because I have found the Lord?” Brother Keith responded, “I also wanted the Lord to take me Home a long time ago and many times since, but the Lord kept me for your sake… Now that you have found what you have been searching for, it is your opportunity to tell someone else.”

Imraan said that he would catch a ride with a trucker who could take him far away from the dangers that he now faced from his family. Brother Keith gave him a new set of clothes, a Church Age book, and a Bible. He then sent him into the unknown.

A few days ago, Brother Imraan returned to the VGR office. His purpose? To say thank you.

I was pleasantly surprised today when Imraan was standing in the reception of the office. He was looking so good and happy. He came back after being in the Free State province for three and a half years. He said he was reading the Church Age book over and over. He was quoting the Bible, and I could see he was reading it as the scriptures just rolled out of his mouth.

He came back on Friday (to Cape Town) and went to his father's house to greet him. He knocked on the door, and his father opened. When he saw Imraan, he shut the door and refused to see him because he knew that Imraan left the Muslim religion and accepted Jesus Christ. Imraan then went to his uncle to ask for a sleeping place, and he was not accepted there. So he spent the nights sleeping in a field. He said that he is just praying for them and having faith for them.

While Imraan was gone for these few years, he went to visit prisons and old age homes, where he gave his testimony of how the Lord Jesus saved his soul. On one occasion when he went to the prison and had his Bible with him. He was approached by a prisoner whose face was covered with tattoos. The prisoner asked him for some paper to make a cigarette. Imraan said that he did not smoke. The prisoner then challenged him to give him some pages of the Bible so that he could make cigarettes and smoke. Imraan then accepted the challenge and told the prisoner that he would give him the Bible only if he would read the page on both sides before he used it. The prisoner then said that he would.

About three weeks later Imraan, went back to the prison and they were playing a game of soccer. There the tattooed prisoner saw him, but he tried to avoid the prisoner. When the prisoner caught up with him, he said he kept his word. He smoked Mathew, Mark, and Luke, but when he came to John, then the Word smoked him, and gave his heart to the Lord. He is now on the same page as Imraan.

Also when he went to the old age home, he read the Scriptures to an old man of a hundred and one years old. He went around to different churches giving his testimony of how the Lord has saved his soul. Imraan said he had to come back and tell me as the one leper who came back to say thank you.
