Bro. Bouchard Firmin Roger was born on September 25, 1955 in Port-Gentil, Gabon. His father was of Jewish origin. He graduated from CEPE (1970) and from 1981 to 1992 he was an assistant in charge of studies at Promo-Gabon (P.M.E.). In his youth, he aspired to become a Catholic priest, a pilot or a soldier.
He is married to Onanga Amélie Claudine and he is the father of 7 girls and 5 boys.
Bro. Bouchard was born Catholic, like his father. He left Catholicism and had attended services in four different denominational assemblies.
On a certain Wednesday, in 1990, he was invited by a brother to attend a service in the first Message church of Port-Gentil. The sermon he heard had such an impact on him that when he arrived back home, he told his wife that he had discovered a revolutionary Gospel. The Sunday of that same week, he accepted baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, after being presented with Acts 2:38.
In 1993 he donated a facility which became a library for the Voice of God Recordings in Port-Gentil. That same year, he became the librarian there.
From the year 2003 to present time, Bro. Bouchard has founded many Tape listening centers, and churches throughout Gabon. He has also been involved in many missionary efforts in the country.
On July 15, 2021, Bro. Joseph Branham appointed Bro. Bouchard as the representative of The Voice of God in Libreville, the capital city of Gabon.
