Office Staff

Emmanuel Bwira Kubuya

Office Manager

Manager History:

My name is Brother Emmanuel Bwira Kubuya, and I was born on December 20, 1967 in Vitshumbi, a small locality by Lake Edouard in the Virunga Park in DRC. The local main activity was fishing, and my dad was working for a big fishing company named Coopevi. This locality had a big influence on me, where I spent most of my youth and did my high school education. It is there that I believed the Message of the hour in 1988.

My parents were Catholics and we were all raised Catholics. Since I was the most successful student in my class, my parents had the ambition to send me to the seminary to become a Catholic priest. They would continually tell me how proud they would be to see me one day in front of the people in a parish and celebrating mass. For my part, I had an ambition to join the army and to become a great military officer. As a young man, my favorite sport was karate; I thought it would be the best sport to help me with my military ambition.

In the family, there were 11 children (7 girls and 4 boys). I was the third boy in the family and my dad’s fifth son. When I believed the Message and read what the prophet of God said about how God reveals Himself in numbers, I understood God doesn’t do things at random. I understood also that the ambition my parents had to see me as a priest celebrating mass in front of a parish was for me to be in front of the Bride of Christ celebrating the revealed Word, the Message of the Prophet of God, William Marrion Branham. As for my military ambition, after I believed the Message, I understood, just like Moses did, that it is not about being an officer for a terrestrial army but for a celestial army, receiving orders from the Commander in Chief Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit.

Office History

VGR Goma Library was established during the month of April 1988, two years after the trip of Brother Joseph Branham, Brother Billy Paul Branham, Brother David Branham and Brother George Fergusson when they travelled to the Democratic Republic of Congo, which was called “Zaire” at that time.

There has been four librarians since its creation. Brother Kubuya Bwira is the current office manager. Before him, Brother Kabunga Abed Nego, Abel Useni and Brother Israel Katenda led the operations of Voice of God in Goma.

Goma is an area affected by many wars. It is amazing to notice that despite all these political troubles, unrests, rebellions, and change of leadership at the top of the city and government hierarchy, VGR Goma has always been able to maintain its activities.

The office of Goma distributes materials in these provinces:

  • North-Kivu
  • South-Kivu
  • Province of Maniema
  • Province Oriental
  • Province of Ituri
  • Republic of Rwanda
  • Republic of Burundi
  • Part of Uganda
